Reasons why  the project is proposed: it is believed that current geological investigation methods (drillings and tests) and landslide monitoring are outdated in some respects,  with a unfavorable cost / benefit ratio and especially of slow execution, processing, interpretation; also the warning time for a catastrophic landslide event are too dilated to allow for effective prevention.
